 \nBismarck State College is pleased to present Conversations at BSC\, a se
 ries of lectures for the public. The topic on Sunday\, February 21 is 'Mus
 solini's Last Day.'   Who was this most infamous ally of Adolph Hitler? Wh
 at does his ignoble death with his mistress tell us about the human spirit
 ?\nEach 'conversation' begins with a presentation by Clay Jenkinson\, and 
 includes discussion between Jenkinson and BSC President Larry C. Skogen. Q
 uestions from the audience complete the conversation. This is BSC's Distin
 guished Scholar of the Humanities Lecture Series held Sundays at 3 p.m. in
  the Sidney J. Lee Auditorium The purpose of the lectures is to enrich the
  community's understanding of our common humanity. The public is welcome t
 o all programs.\nDr. Larry C. Skogen is BSC's sixth president. He has taug
 ht in collegiate and military settings and worked in many management capac
 ities for the U.S. Air Force\, where he served 26 years and retired as lie
 utenant colonel. An instructor at the U.S. Air Force Academy\, Skogen was 
 academic dean and deputy superintendent for academic affairs at New Mexico
  Military Institute\, Roswell. He was an educational consultant to the Uni
 ted Arab Emirates and inspector general of the Francis E. Warren Air Force
  Base in Wyoming. Skogen has a doctorate in history from Arizona State Uni
 versity\, Tempe\, MA in history from Central Missouri State University\, W
 arrensburg\, and BS in secondary education from Dickinson State University
 .\nClay Jenkinson\, a Rhodes and Danforth scholar\, is a published author 
 and one of the leading public humanities scholars in the United States. He
  hosts a nationally syndicated radio program from Bismarck\, The Thomas Je
 fferson Hour\, and works as a speaker\, consultant and facilitator. Jenkin
 son directs The Dakota Institute of the Fort Mandan Foundation and serves 
 on its board. He is chief consultant to the Theodore Roosevelt Center thro
 ugh Dickinson State University and a columnist for the Bismarck Tribune. J
 enkinson has an MA from Oxford University\, Cambridge\, England\, BA in En
 glish literature from Vanderbilt University\, and BA in English from Unive
