Organizer, John Weiss says about 25 acts will perform during the talent show set for 3 p.m. Sept. 27 in BSC's Sidney J. Lee Auditorium. 'Bismarck's Got Talent!' is a project of the BSC Music department to raise money for a choir trip to New York next spring. The BSC Concert Choir and Chamber Choir accepted an invitation from Distinguished Concerts International in New York City (DCINYC) to perform Mozart's 'Solemn Vespers' at Carnegie Hall's Isaac Stern Auditorium on March 19. Dr. Jonathan Griffith, artistic director and conductor for DCINYC, said in a news release that BSC choirs were invited because of the quality and high level of musicianship of its singers and exceptional recommendations from Dr. John Weiss' choral colleagues.
