    The Bismarck State College Jazz Ensemble Concert will be Thursday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m. in BSC's Sidney J. Lee Auditorium. The concert will feature jazz music from a multitude of styles and periods. The jazz ensemble is open to all students interested in continuing to perform in the classical 'big band' sound through modern contemporary jazz.

    The concert is free and open to the public.

    The concert will be selected from the following music: The Chant (Swing) by Victor Feldman, arranged by Mark Taylor  -  A Time For Love (Ballad) by Johnny Mandel, arranged by Sammy Nestico, featuring Luke Hushagen on trombone - Pescados Frescos (Latin/Montuno) by Armando Rivera - In The Groove (Swing) by Scott Stanton - Confusion (Samba) by Lennie Neihaus - Winners Circle (Jazz Shuffle) by Sammy Nestico, featuring the saxophone section - Slingshot (Funk) by Jeff Jarvis - It Is What It Is (Swing) by Andy Farber - Big Sloppy Joe (Shuffle) by Rich Woolworth - Super Mario Medley by Koji Kondo, arranged by Eric Dannewitz, features many of the familiar themes from the beloved video game - Once Upon A Time (Rock) by Tom Brown, has the distinct 70s sound.
