    Topics from local stories to global knowledge will be on the agenda as persons interested in genealogy and history gather to share and learn from each other as well as take advantage of the presentations, displays, special events, and an array of speakers that will be part of the University of North Dakota's Initiatives in French Bismarck French Heritage Convention at the North Dakota Heritage Center. The theme of the convention is how to find local heritage and bring it to the public sphere as a source of knowledge. IFMidwest and the Bismarck Mandan History and Genealogy Society are working in collaboration to create a unique and instructive convention on genealogy and French heritage. Everyone is welcome to attend all or any part of the convention.
