"Sing Together" concert sponsored by Bismarck State College

On Sunday, February 27, at 3 p.m., the Bismarck State College Choir will be presenting an exciting collaborative concert with the Minnesota based professional vocal ensemble, From Age To Age. The performance is titled "Sing Together!" and will be held at the lovely, reverberate Cathedral of the Holy Spirit on Raymond Street, Bismarck. Audience members will have the chance to hear multiple BSC chamber ensembles perform beautiful, exciting music selections side-by-side with professional singers. You don't want to miss your chance to witness this wonderful collaborative event!

Andrew Miller, BSC's new director of choral activities is also the founder and artistic director of the Minnesota-based professional vocal ensemble From Age To Age (est. 2007). Miller recently took his position at BSC after completing a master’s degree in choral conducting at U of M, Mankato. Andrew received his undergraduate music training from Bemidji State University, and taught public school music in the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle school district, Minn., 2007-2008. Andrew and his full-time collegues (Dr. John Darling - Band, Dawn Hagerott - Voice) share a vision for the BSC music program, and are thrilled to work together to achieve new heights!

The day prior to the concert, From Age To Age will be conducting intense vocal/educational workshops with BSC choral students in preparation for the big event. This enriching day of educational outreach called The Art of Ensemble Singing, along with Sunday's concert Sing Together! is hosted by Bismarck State College and funded in part by a grant from the BSC Foundation.

$8 general admission, $4 students and seniors.
