    Three-time Nobel Peace Prize nominee, former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations World Food Program and U.S. Representative and author, Tony Hall, will present to the University of Mary Friday, March 25, 2011, at 10 a.m., in the Matt and Jo Ann Butler Hall of the Gary Tharaldson School of Business. This event is free and open to the public.

    Hall will talk about the intersection of faith and social justice as it relates to world hunger. He is a leading advocate for hunger relief programs and the improvement of human rights conditions across the globe.

    Currently, Hall serves as executive director of the Alliance to End Hunger, an organization that seeks to engage diverse institutions and stakeholders in building public and political will to end hunger at home and abroad.

    Hall has authored a book, Changing the Face of Hunger, and served for 24-years in the U.S. House of Representatives for the state of Ohio. He currently serves as the director for The Alliance to End Hunger (http://alliancetoendhunger.org/).
