The University of Mary Collegiate DECA chapter is preparing for its first Easter Eggstravaganza Event on Sunday, April 3. The fun, massive Easter egg hunt begins at 1 p.m. in the Gary Tharaldson School of Business on the campus of America’s Leadership University. Proceeds from the event will help fund the University of Mary Collegiate DECA chapter trip to the International Career Development Conference in Orlando, FL, April 13-16.

The egg hunt will be split up into different times for various age groups participating. Eggs are filled with candy or slips of paper for children to turn in to claim a special prize after the hunt. There will be fun activities for children to take part in and chances to win prizes. Activities include a bunny hop, face painting, cookie decorating, and an opportunity to get a picture with the Easter bunny!

General admission is $5 per child. Tickets for the specific activities are $2 for one, $5 for six, and $10 for 15, with the number of tickets required varying by activity. General admission and tickets will be available at the door.

Eggstravaganza leader Krista Harju states, “The Easter Eggstravaganza is an event where children can come and have a great time in a safe environment. It is going to be a great event for the children to just get loose and have a lot of Easter fun!”
