Grateful Lovers is a one hour documentary film by Chris Jury, a native of North Dakota and member of punk band The Bismarck. The focus of the film is the process by which young people from the plains growing up in the 80’s and early 90’s found their way to music which was, at the time, underground in even the biggest metropolitan places. They share how they came into contact with punk rock music, the struggles of access, the process of making music of their own, and how it changed their lives.
