The Bismarck State College ChoirFest Concert will take place on Saturday, November 19, at The Cathedral of the Holy Spirit on Raymond Street, Bismarck, at 2 p.m. It is an opportunity for BSC and regional high school choral students to rehearse and perform together alongside the acclaimed Minnesota-based professional vocal ensemble, From Age to Age. This year's event will also feature a specially commissioned choral composition for the mass festival chorus by Walton published composer, Arden Skoglund. In the past, approximately 100 students from Bismarck State College and area high schools including Bismarck High School, Saint Mary's Central High School, Bismarck Century High School, Shiloh Christian School, Mandan High School, and high schools from New Salem, Wilton, Strasburg, Richardton-Taylor, Grant County, Zeeland, Glen Ullin, Steele-Dawson, Drake, Hazen, Center, Underwood, Flasher and Williston have participated. ChoirFest promotes the BSC music program to a wider audience in the Bismarck-Mandan community and surrounding region. Admission is $10 adults and $5 seniors and students. Tickets may be purchased at the door.
