    "Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays" will celebrate the beginning of its off-Broadway run by spreading its message of equality with one-night-only performances of the show across America on November 7. Conceived by Brian Shnipper, "Standing on Ceremony: the Gay Marriage Plays," features short plays from writers including Neil LaBute, Moises Kaufman, Paul Rudnick, Doug Wright, John Harrison, Wendy MacLeod, Jeffrey Hatcher and Joe Keenan.

    Twenty-five theaters and universities are confirmed to participate in the nationwide event in 19 states including seven states which currently ban gay marriage, Texas, North Dakota, Florida, Kansas, Michigan, North Carolina, and California. A reading will also take place in Sydney, Australia.

    Members of the BSC campus and community will be featured readers for this live streaming event.
