Los Angeles-based, six-time Grammy winner and copyist Ken Gruberman leads the orchestra as they perform a wide variety of modern Hollywood hits along with themes from classic movie favorites.

For the past 41 years, Gruberman, an award-winning music copyist, librarian and contractor, has created music for films, recordings and television. In the film industry, he has worked with some of the most respected film composers in Hollywood including John Williams and John Barry.

This concert will also look at "the big picture,” those less fortunate in our world who need basic household support. Join Ken Gruberman and the MVCO as they rally together to bring donated items to assist the Abused Adult Resource Center. Please bring non-perishable food, bedding, cleaning, housekeeping, baby, personal hygiene, or a medicine cabinet item to donate. See a complete list of big picture needs on the Missouri Valley Chamber Orchestra’s website at www.mvco.net.

For information on music technology classes presented by Gruberman, call the ticketing number.
