Dakota Stage Ltd. is proud to present ALEXANDER AND THE TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE, NO GOOD, VERY BAD DAY, the dazzling and delightful musical comedy, drawn from the beloved book by Judith Viorst. Starring DSL favorites Austin Flemmer, Becki Maloney and Andrew Hager in the title role, and welcoming to the stage Jackee Rohrich, Derek Harper and Jeffrey Jung, with direction by Amanda Perry, ALEXANDER… is certain to be an amazing adventure for both young and old.

Alexander is having a bad day. A terrible day. A horrible day. To be quite honest, it's a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. But then, everybody has bad days, sometimes. In this charming adaptation of her popular book, Judith Viorst sets Alexander's rather trying life to music and brings to the stage one of America's feistiest characters. Not only does Alexander wake up with gum in his hair, but his mother forgets to pack him dessert, and his best friend decides he's not his best friend anymore. And if that's not bad enough, Alexander's brothers don't have any cavities but—he does. And just when it can't get any worse, there are lima beans for supper and —yuck!—kissing on TV. It is enough to make anyone want to go to Australia. Alexander's struggles with life's daily dramas will not only entertain but educate families as they identify with Alexander and the obstacles he encounters, encouraging them to share their feelings and to realize that bad days happen—even in Australia.

    Tickets: Dakota Stage Ltd. will hold its run of ALEXANDER… at 412 E Main Ave. in Bismarck. Performances are at 7:30pm on Wednesdays through Saturdays and at 2pm on Sundays from December 1st through the 11th. Tickets are $23 for adults and $20 for students, seniors, and military personnel. Reservations can be made after November 21st online at www.dakotastageltd.com, via email at execdir@dakotastageltd.com, by phone at 701-258-4998 and at the door before each show.
    
    MAKE A NIGHT OF IT! Through special arrangement with The Peacock Alley, Dakota Stage Ltd. is offering an exclusive dining package. A $50 ticket earns you a custom created, four course feast, a complimentary glass of wine or beer, and admission to ALEXANDER…, tax and gratuity free. Dinner seating begins at 5:30pm and show time is at 7:30pm. Limited quantities are available per performance.
