Dr. Beverly Everett and the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra perform “A Place of Impressions,” featuring the works of prominent French composers. Guest artist Martina Filjak, winner of the 2009 Cleveland International Piano Competition, will display her virtuosity in Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major. Dickinson State University senior Alyssa Spratta, senior division winner of the BMSO’s 2011 Young Artist Competition, will also be featured as soloist in Alexander Arutiunian’s Trumpet Concerto. “A Place of Impressions” is generously sponsored by BMSO’s partners at BNC National Bank and Yellowbook, and will take place on Saturday, February 4 at 7:30 p.m. at the Belle Mehus Auditorium. Ticket prices range from $19-31 for adults, $14-31 for seniors, and only $9 for students.
