This event, held in conjunction with the University of Mary's 50th Anniversary Celebration and themed: Reaching Outward, Leading Forward, is FREE and open to the public. Guests will enjoy a bit of everything, with offerings ranging from music, visual art, the architecture of Marcel Breuer (world-renowned designer of U-Mary's first buildings), creative movement art, and theater, to the dedication of the new campus sculpture, “The Holy Family,” by Greg Mueller.

The afternoon is filled with hands-on activities like dream catcher making, face painting and the “Faces of Mary” mosaic project. Activities, beginning at 2:30 p.m., include a drumming workshop, readers theater, walking tour of campus, and Middle Eastern dancing demonstration. Following the dedication of “The Holy Family” sculpture, there will be a faculty concert and a free dinner. Closing the event will be the praise and worship band, Peder Eide.

Eide and his band will perform at 7 p.m., in the U-Mary Leach Field House. Eide takes his music and worship ministry throughout North America, and appears on television and radio. He has released 11 recordings. The concert is free and open to the public!
