Stephen Carlson is one of those rare performers who is teacher, artist, and all around great guy. His playing is a mixture of prowess and sincerity. Stephen will delight us all with Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1. Also on this program is Grieg's Holberg Suite and Haydn's Symphony No. 104. Last year the BMSO musicians were asked to submit their "Top 3" favorite pieces they would like to see programmed, and the Grieg came from that survey.
