Madison Lorentzen

I am a young singer/songwriter from the Midwest. I was raised on a farm in North Dakota along with my nine siblings. When I was twelve years old I remember getting a big package in the mail from one of my uncles who lived on the West Coast To my suprise it was a Epiphone guitar. I often have wondered if my Uncle ever had thought about how that one gift could and would totally change my life. I started to teach myself how to play, and with help from other guitar players I knew, I quickly picked it up. Some of the first songs I learned where Johnny Cash songs like "Folsom Prison" and old Hymes like "Amazing Grace" After a while I decided I wanted to write my own songs, I mean if other people could do it, why couldnt I? the next couple years where spent playing a lot of guitar and performing wherever I got the chance. In 2009 I did some touring, and ended up meeting my future wife Morgan while in Anchorage touring around Alaska. Later that year I went back to AK to work a construction job out in the bush. When that job was over I got a job in Anchorage working on airplanes. Morgan and I where married in July of 2010. Currently we are in the process of moving back to ND. I am also working on a CD right now that I am hoping to have out sometime next year.
