Yes, he is the OneManBand, but don't expect to catch him with a multitude of instruments strapped to his body. No drum on his back. No harmonica mounted below his mouth. And, certainly no cymbals between his knees. That would be all too simple. Luke uses a foot-controlled live looping machine to transcend commonly perceived musical boundaries. He doesn't just sing or play a tune; rather, he builds his music layer by layer. He constructs background music by recording fragments of his playing and looping them, all while he continues to build more and more layers.
